The solution delivers a UWC Data Warehouse—initially a lightweight version of the LINK database optimized for high-performance reporting—alongside a Business Metadata Layer that centralizes core business logic to enable flexible reporting and standard insights into the student administration system. In alignment with the university's strategic commitment, the architecture strictly prioritizes open-source software, with the BIRS Technical Architecture document evaluating these technologies to recommend the optimal solution.
